U-Crest Chief on scene with smoke showing from 2nd floor – 2 story dwelling. Attack crews force entry from #2 side door to a kitchen fire. Heavy smoke throughout. Crews take back up line through front door. Pine Hill crews make primary/secondary search, Hy-View crews recon 2nd floor for any extension. Sloan crews search basement for extension. Rescue crews secure utilities and provide water source. Cleve Hill crews overhaul in kitchen. Fire contained to kitchen are around stove.
